Masses of fabulously fragrant, tubular, white flowers that turn deep yellow, and are streaked red outside, smother this honeysuckle in late spring. In hot summers, the flowers may be followed by small, bright red fruits. Deciduous and earlier flowering than many other varieties, this one will quickly cover a boundary wall or fence in full sun or partial shade.

Chilean Jasmine. This attractive climber will enchant you with it's very fragrant and pure white trumpet flowers in summer. The twining stems have dark green foliage and will rapidly cover a fence or trellis. Likes a well drained position in morning sun in nice deep soil. Semi-evergreen.

The amount of leaf drop on this climber will depend on the winter temperatures i.e. the colder it is the more leaves the plant will shed. Will tolerate light frost only.

Boston Ivy. If you want to cover up something unsightly in a hurry then this is the climber for you. The suction cups at the end of each tendril cling tenaciously to most surfaces. Tough, hardy and oh so beautiful in autumn when the bronze-green leaves turn shades of fiery red. Deciduous.

A special climber from the Hydrangea family with broad oval leaves and small creamy flower heads in summer. These flowers are surrounded by drooping creamy-yellow bracts. Quite showy especially against a brick wall or similar where it will cling unsupported. Happiest in the sun, hardy and deciduous.

While Schizophragma (Ski-zo-frag-ma) prefers a sunny spot it can take some shade. The name means Schizo (to divide) and phragma (a wall).
